(A) No, borrowing from the Gemach is free of charge.

(Q) How do I actually borrow from the Gemach?
(A) Borrowing from the Gemach is easy. You can either call or E-mail us (number and E-mail address available on homepage) and we can arrange a proper time for you to come and pickup items from the Gemach.

(Q) Do I need to leave a deposit?
(A) Yes, we ask for a $100 deposit when borrowing from the Gemach. The deposit is 100% refundable upon return of the items to the Gemach.

(Q) When do I need to return the items to the Gemach?
(A) We ask that you return all items within 36 hours: that is the evening of the day following the Bris. We will let you know if we need the items back the same day, should there be a reserve on the items for a Bris on the day following yours.

(Q) What about a Bris on Friday?
(A) For a Bris on Friday, you may return the items on Sunday.

(Q) What happens if something from the Gemach is damaged?
(A) Upon returning the item, we will asses the cost to repair the item.

(Q) What happens if something from the Gemach gets dirty?
(A) We ask for $5.00 to cover the cost of cleaning the item. Please do not try to clean the item yourself, as items from the Gemach are extremely delicate.

(Q) What happens if something from the Gemach is lost?
(A) You will be asked to cover the cost of replacing the item.
